In Anbetracht vielseitiger gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen, widmet sich die vorliegende Abschlussarbeit der Frage, welche Faktoren die Zusammenarbeit von Stiftungen mit Unternehmen beeinflussen, um in unserem pluralistischen Sektorensystem gemeinsam Lösungen zu erarbeiten. Gemeinnützige intersektorale Kooperationen ermöglichen den beteiligten Partnern trotz kultureller Unterschiede durch ihre komplementären Ressourcen eine höhere Problemlösungsfähigkeit und Wirkung in der Bewältigung gesellschaftlicher Herausforderungen. In Experteninterviews geben Vertreter aus Stiftungs- und Unternehmenspraxis an, Kooperationen als effektives und effizientes Instrument einzusetzen, ihren Stiftungszweck, bzw. ihr gesellschaftliches Engagement zu verwirklichen. Während ihre Zusammenarbeit zur Alltagspraxis geworden ist, bleiben im Verhältnis zu den Prognosen theoretischer Modelle, Chancen ungenutzt, gemeinsam eine größere Wirkung zu erzielen. In light of multilateral societal challenges, the present thesis examines the factors that influence the relationship between foundations and corporations in order to jointly develop solutions in our pluralistic sector system. Cross-Sector Social Interactions enable the involved partners despite cultural differences, to use their complementary resources for greater problem-solving abilities and in tackling societal challenges. In expert interviews, representatives from foundations and corporations indicate that they are using cooperation as an effective and efficient tool to realize their purpose as a foundation or for corporate social responsibility. Whilst cooperation has become part of their everyday practice, they remain behind the predictions of theoretical models and thus do not take full advantage of working together to achieve greater impact.
