Abstract
Nach jahrzehntelanger Militärherrschaft hat Myanmar seit Anfang 2016 wieder eine gewählte Regierung. Der Friedensprozess mit den bewaffneten ethnischen Minderheiten geht aber weiterhin nur schleppend voran, und Ende 2016 eskalierte die Gewalt gegen die muslimische Minderheit der Rohingya erneut.
