Statement zur Plenumsdiskussion Perspektiven zukünftiger Transformationsforschung

Abstract

In diesem Statement werden zunächst regionale und materielle Defizite der Forschung skizziert und Bearbeitungen anhand multidisziplinärer Untersuchungsansätze gefordert. Für diese Art der Kooperation sind jedoch einige anspruchsvolle Voraussetzungen erforderlich. Die sozial- und raumwissenschaftliche Transformationsforschung sollte sich unterschiedlichen Transformationstypiken, der Überprüfung allgemeiner Entwicklungsmodelle und auch regionalisierten Dynamiken zuwenden.

This statement will firstly outline regional and material deficits of research, and call for work to be based on multi-disciplinary examination approaches. For this type of cooperation, however, some fastidious prerequisites are necessary. Social and spatial scientific transformation research should address itself to various typical types of transformation, revisal of universal models of development and regionalized dynamics.
