(Autorenreferat)... view less

"The article focuses on the relationship between precarious work, social integration and migrants' subjective feelings of belonging to a host society. On the basis of qualitative empirical research, this contribution highlights the characteristics of four different types of precarious work among migrants and looks also at the dynamics of migrant precarious work and the impact of precarious work on migrants' subjective evaluation of their own migration project. Furthermore, the article shows how precarious social integration by means of precarious work affects the migrants' feelings of belonging to their host country. The article is concluded by considerations of migration status as a distinct risk of precarisation." (author's abstract)... view less
