Ausgehend von dem Phänomen "illegaler Einwanderung" befasst sich die Untersuchung mit der Biografie solcher Einwanderer und der Einbettung derartiger Einreisewege nach Deutschland, in deren Gesamtzusammenhang die "Biografieträger" ein Moratorium eingehen, das immerhin mindestens vier bis fünf Jahre Lebenszeit beansprucht, um das Hauptziel eines eigenständigen legalen Aufenthaltsstatus zu erreichen. Starting with the phenomenon of "illegal immigration", the investigation is concerned with the
biographies of such immigrants and the embedding of immigration routes to Germany; in this
context the "biographical units" agree to a moratorium in the amount of at least four to five
years of their lifetime in order to achieve their main aim of an autonomous legal residence
status. Especially the subjective reminders and self-expressions constitute the main area of
