(Autorenreferat)... view less

"This contribution discusses conceptions of childhood in the movement of '68 in West Germany. The article analyses how the child was seen within the 'Kinderladen' movement and the educational principles and practices followed. The conclusion focuses on different dimensions of the child as actor, discussing them in a wider perspective of both the cultural dimension of '68 and the continuities of ideas of progressive education in the 20th century."
