This article examines the role of - and challenges facing - the Russian political opposition in exile. Operating from abroad due to security concerns, opposition groups are constrained yet remain active in influencing political dynamics in Russia. This preliminary analysis underscores the importance of maintaining connections with domestic constituencies to support "authoritarian erosion" and highlights how exiled communities contribute to the delegitimization of the regime through transnational networks.
