La construcción de narrativas como método de investigación psico-social. Prácticas de escritura compartida

Abstract

Die diskursive Wende in den Sozialwissenschaften hat den Weg für neue, kritische Paradigmen geöffnet, die sich vom klassischen Kriterium positivistischer Validierung entfernt halten. In der Folge haben nichtlineare Designs und dialogische Schreibweisen, die früher als unwissenschaftlich erachtet wurden, begonnen, in akademischen Publikationen eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle zu spielen. In diesem Zusammenhang haben sich auch Narrationen zunehmend als Gegenstand diskursanalytischer Studien und als exzellentes Mittel der Beschreibung subjektiver Wirklichkeit(en) bewährt. In unserer Perspektive ist es deshalb an der Zeit, einen Schritt weiterzugehen, indem wir die Konstruktion von Narrationen als Methode verstehen, die – in Übereinstimmung mit feministischen Epistemologien – sowohl helfen kann, den epistemologischen Dualismus der Subjekt-Objekt-Trennung als auch den ontologischen Realismus zu problematisieren, der die Existenz der einen, "objektiven" Realität postuliert. Hierzu werden wir in diesem Beitrag, ausgehend von eigenen Forschungserfahrungen mit der Verwendung von Narrationen, unsere Argumentation in einem dialogischen und autoreflexiven Modus entwickeln, um zu zeigen, dass die Konstruktion von Narrationen mit feministischen Konzepten wie dem von Dona HARAWAY anschlussfähig ist und hilft, situatives Wissen und geteilte Konversation zu initiieren, die dann wiederum erlauben, traditionelle Validierungskonzepte kritisch zu überdenken.

The discursive turn in the social sciences has opened the way for the appearance of new critical paradigms that have moved further away from the classic criterion of positivist validation. Therefore, nonlinear research designs and forms of dialogical writing, formerly defined as unscientific, have begun to occupy a prominent place in academic publications. In this context, narratives are configured as objects of discursive analysis, and they are considered an excellent tool to describe subjective realities. In our opinion, it is now necessary to go one step further. In this sense, we would like to propose the construction of narratives as a method—a process of investigation—that, in consonance with feminist epistemology, can problematize both the epistemological dualism based on the subject-object distinction and the ontological realism that postulates the existence of an objective reality. In this article, starting from our research experiences in using narratives, we will develop our argument in a dialogical and autoreflexive mode. We believe that the construction of narratives relates to Dona HARAWAY's feminist objectivity proposal by fomenting the generation of situated knowledge and shared conversation, offering us elements to rethink post-positivist validation of collective knowledge.

El giro discursivo en el campo de las ciencias sociales ha abierto el camino a la aparición de nuevos paradigmas críticos alejados de los criterios clásicos de validación positivista. Así, nuevos diseños de investigación no lineales y formas de escritura dialógica, antaño denostadas como acientíficas, empiezan a ocupar un lugar prominente en revistas y publicaciones académicas. En este contexto, las narrativas se constituyen como nuevos objetos de análisis discursivo, atribuyéndoles una importancia relevante en la capacidad de descripción de realidades subjetivas. Consideramos que es necesario ir un paso más allá proponiendo la construcción de narrativas como método-proceso de investigación que, en consonancia con la epistemología feminista, problematice el dualismo epistemológico basado en la distinción sujeto-objeto y el realismo ontológico que postula la existencia de una realidad objetiva. Queremos desarrollar la argumentación, en forma de reflexión dialógica y autoreflexiva partiendo de nuestras prácticas investigadoras a través del uso de narrativas. Consideramos que la construcción de narrativas enlaza con la propuesta de objetividad feminista de Donna Haraway a partir de la generación de conocimientos situados y conversaciones compartidas, ofreciéndonos elementos para repensar formas de validación post-positivista del conocimiento colectivo
