Jesús Santrich, El Rebelde Romántico: Entrevista a Seuxis Pausias Hernández

Abstract

Beyond all the controversies that his figure implies in the recent history of Colombia, it is necessary to rescue the figure of Jesús Santrich, his contributions in terms of critical thinking, as the framework of the reencounter of two historical times and the search for what is essential in a political horizon, for him, Utopia, in the face of successive defeats of the idea of a Stable and Lasting Peace. Rescuing Santrich as a thinker and artist is key to the dispute of our memories, because as Walter Benjamin reminds us, with the victory of the dominant sectors, not even our dead are safe.

Más allá de todas las polémicas que implica su figura en la historia reciente de Colombia, es necesario rescatar la figura de Jesús Santrich, sus aportes en términos de pensamiento crítico, como el marco del reencuentro de dos tiempos históricos y la búsqueda de lo que es lo esencial en un horizonte político, para él, la Utopía, ante sucesivas derrotas de la idea de una Paz Estable y Duradera. Rescatar a Santrich como pensador y artista es clave para la disputa de nuestras memorias, pues como bien nos recuerda Walter Benjamin, con la victoria de los sectores dominantes, ni nuestros muertos están a salvo.
