In the first part of the book Reassembling the Social: An Introduction to Actor-Network-Theory, entitled: "How to deploy controversies about the social world," Bruno Latour develops his ideas on an alternative way of doing sociology and of understanding the world of human-non-human relations. In this book, the author proposes an epistemological re-evaluation of the science of sociology to make it more symmetrical between analysts and actors and more oriented toward the construction, search, and description of the forms of action, which would be given by agential networks of people and things. En la primera parte del libro Re-ensamblar lo social, Una introducción a la Teoría del Actor Red, titulada: "Como desplegar controversias sobre el mundo social", Bruno Latour desarrolla sus ideas sobre una forma alternativa de hacer sociología y de entender el mundo de las relaciones entre humanos y no humanos. En este libro el autor propone reevaluar epistemológicamente la ciencia de la sociología para que sea más simétrica entre analistas y actores y para que se oriente más a la construcción, búsqueda y descripción de las formas de acción que serían dadas por redes agenciales de personas y cosas.
