The environmental contributions of ancestral peoples are relevant in today's societies, which are governed by capitalism, its capital-environment contradiction, and the relations that ecological imperialism imposes. In this sense, rescuing other ways that propose alternatives to capitalism and "development," such as ancestral knowledge, motivates the interest in carrying out the degree project around the contributions of the Muysqa community of the municipality of Cota, Cundinamarca, to a group of "western" young people called Gualí Tribe. Los aportes ambientales de los pueblos ancestrales son relevantes en las sociedades actuales regidas por el capitalismo, su contradicción Capital-ambiente y las relaciones que imprime el imperialismo ecológico.
