Ausgehend von der UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention untersucht der Beitrag in ländervergleichender Perspektive aktuelle Entwicklungen auf dem Weg zur schulischen Inklusion anhand von bildungsstatistischen Daten. Im Ergebnis zeigen sich deutliche Differenzen in den Bemühungen, z.T. mit einer Entfernung von den Zielen der Konvention. Daran schließt die Frage nach den Abschlussmöglichkeiten der Jugendlichen an separierten Förderschulen an. Eine Analyse von Schulgesetzen und Verordnungen ergibt, dass der Erwerb eines Ersten Schulabschlusses nahezu überall rechtlich eingeräumt wird, hinsichtlich höher qualifizierender Abschlüsse jedoch teils erhebliche Differenzen zwischen den Ländern und Förderschwerpunkten auszumachen sind. Anhand von Daten der Schulstatistik wird zudem aufgezeigt, dass inklusiv unterrichtete Jugendliche häufiger einen allgemeinbildenden Abschluss erreichen. Based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the article examines current developments on the path to inclusion, using data from the official school statistics. The results indicate notable differences in the efforts made towards inclusive schooling. This is followed by the question of the graduation options for young people at special schools. An analysis of school laws and ordinances shows that the acquisition of a lower secondary certificate is legally granted almost everywhere, but with regard to higher qualifications, considerable differences exist between the federal states as well as between different areas of special needs. Using data from school statistics, it is also shown that young people who are taught inclusively more often achieve a general education qualification. The findings are discussed with regard to the limitations of data from the official education statistics.... view less
