Lebensgeschichtliches Erzählen im Kontext von Beratung und Therapie

Abstract

Eine Grundvoraussetzung der hermeneutischen Biografieanalyse ist die Erzeugung lebensgeschichtlicher Erzählungen auf Seiten der InterviewpartnerInnen. Dies gilt auch für die biografieanalytisch orientierte Beratungspraxis. Erzählungen eigenerlebter Erfahrungen geben einerseits den BeraterInnen Auskunft über die biografischen Selbstkonstruktionen und die Prozesse der lebensgeschichtlichen Aufschichtung von Erfahrungen. Neben diesem diagnostischen Gewinn für die BeraterInnen dienen sie aber andererseits auch dem Selbstverstehen für die KlientInnen. Die Autorin arbeitet in einer psychosozialen Beratungsstelle für Studierende. Aufgezeigt werden der Transfer und das Potenzial einer biografisch narrativen Gesprächsführung in einer Institution mit einer spezifischen Problemstellung.

A precondition for any hermeneutic analysis of biographies is that the interview partners generate life history narratives. The same applies to a counseling practice that is sensitized by biographical analysis. On the one hand, clients' narratives of their own experiences provide the counselor with information on their biographical self-constructions and the processes of the sedimentation of the experiences of their life history. On the other hand, such narratives are not only of diagnostic use for the counselor, but also contribute to the clients' self-understanding. The author works in a psychosocial counseling center for university students. The article describes the transfer and potential of a style of counseling which encourages and is sensitized by biographical narratives in the context of an institution with a specific task.

Una condición previa a cualquier análisis hermenéutico es que los entrevistados generen historias de vida en forma de narraciones. Lo mismo ocurre en la práctica de la orientación psicológica que se sensibiliza mediante el análisis biográfico. Por un lado, las narrativas del paciente sobre sus experiencias proporcionan la información al consejero sobre sus autoconstrucciones y los procesos de sedimentación de las experiencias de su historia de vida. Por otro lado, esas narrativas no tienen solo un uso diagnóstico para el consejero, sino que contribuyen además a la auto-comprensión del paciente. El autor trabaja en una unidad de orientación psicológica a estudiantes universitarios. El artículo describe la transferencia y potencial de un estilo de orientación que promueve y es sensibilizado por narrativas biográficas en el contexto de una institución con una tarea específica.
