Diskurs im Alltag – Alltag im Diskurs: Ein Beitrag zu einer empirisch begründeten Methodologie sozialwissenschaftlicher Diskursforschung

Abstract

Wie kann man Alltagswissen diskursanalytisch untersuchen? Die empirische Studie zum Internetforum "1000 Fragen zur Bioethik", einem diskursiven Ereignis im Interdiskurs, bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für eine methodologische Reflexion des Zusammenhangs von Alltag und Diskurs. Anhand einer Typologie werden zunächst "Spezialdiskurs", "Interdiskurs" und "Elementardiskurs" differenziert. Anschließend wird ein Beitrag zur Konzeptionalisierung des Alltagsdiskurses geleistet. Zu diesem Zweck werden Anschlüsse an die Wissenssoziologie nach BERGER und LUCKMANN hergestellt und diese wird einer an FOUCAULT orientierten strukturtheoretischen Lesart unterzogen. Dabei werden Strukturiertheit und Eigensinnigkeit des "Sprechens der Leute" wie auch die Bedeutung von Legitimierung und Subjektivierung für das Alltagswissen herausgearbeitet. Zum Schluss werden eigene Analyseergebnisse zum Verhältnis von Spezial- und Alltagswissen vorgestellt.

How can one apply discourse analysis to everyday knowledge? The empirical analysis of a particular discursive Internet-based event, the Internet forum "1000 Questions about Bioethics", offers a good starting point for methodological considerations of the relationship between everyday life and discourse. This article discusses three main points. First, it differentiates between three types of discourse, namely special discourse, interdiscourse and elementary discourse. Second, it offers a contribution to the conceptualization of everyday discourse. In this respect, BERGER and LUCKMANN's sociology of knowledge proves helpful; their approach is subjected to a reading that uses a structural theoretical view drawing on FOUCAULT. The structured character as well as the originality of "what people are saying" are explored; the significance of establishing legitimacy and subjectivation for everyday knowledge is also pointed out. Finally, the article presents the authors' empirical findings on the relations between special knowledge and everyday knowledge.

¿Cómo se puede aplicar el análisis del discurso al conocimiento de la vida cotidiana? El examen de un discurso particular sobre un evento acaecido en Internet (El forum "1000 Preguntas sobre Bioética") ofrece un perfecto punto de partida para realizar diversas consideraciones metodológicas sobre la relación entre vida cotidiana y discurso. Este artículo discute tres cuestiones básicas. En primer lugar diferencia entre tres tipos de discurso: un discurso especial, un interdiscurso y un discurso elemental. En segundo lugar, se intenta conceptualizar el discurso cotidiano. Para tal finalidad, la sociología del conocimiento de BERGER y LUCKMANN ofrece una ayuda considerable, su enfoque es interpretado a partir de una lectura estructural basada en el trabajo de FOUCAULT. En ese sentido, se explora el carácter estructurado y la originalidad de "lo que la gente dice", y se muestra la importancia que tiene para el conocimiento cotidiano establecer un patrón de legitimidad y subjetiviación. Por último, el texto presenta los resultados empíricos de los autores sobre las relaciones entre conocimiento especial y conocimiento cotidiano.
