This article therefore examines the interrelationship between narratives on digitalization and organizational practice. On the one hand, the article uses an empirical case from a consulting firm to show how digitalization narratives can have an effect in organizations. On the other hand, it presents an analytical perspective on how this interrelationship between digitalization narratives and organizational practice can be understood as well as corresponding implications for sociological research on digitalization.... view less
