Algunos conceptos clave en torno a las creencias de los docentes en formación

Abstract

La línea de investigación sobre creencias de los docentes en formación constituye uno de los más complejos ámbitos de estudio en el campo del aprender a enseñar; toda una sugerente línea de estudios en torno a las creencias de los aprendices de profesor (su origen y perpetuación, su intervención en procesos cognitivos, su influencia en los individuos, su relación con la práctica de la enseñanza…). Fruto de nuestra revisión teórica al respecto, surge el presente artículo, que intenta aproximarse al propio concepto de creencias, averiguar su origen y necesidad, el papel que juegan en el crecimiento profesional de los docentes y su relación con otros constructos concomitantes cuales son el conocimiento, las teorías implícitas, las actitudes y disposiciones docentes, etc., haciendo un recorrido por las investigaciones y trabajos realizados que han aportado resultados interesantes sobre esta temática.

The line of research on student teachers’ beliefs constitutes one of the most complex scopes of study in the field of learning to teach; all a suggestive line of studies around the beliefs of the student teachers (its origin and maintenance, its intervention in thinking processes, their influence in the individuals, their relation with the practice of education…). Fruit of our theoretical revision on the matter, the present article arises, that tries to come near to the own concept of beliefs, to find out its origin and necessity, the paper that plays in the professional growth of teachers and its relation with other closely related or united concepts as they are the knowledge, the implicit theories, the educational attitudes and dispositions, etc., doing a route by the research and developed works that have contributed interesting results on this thematic.
