Ausgangspunkt des Beitrages ist die Beobachtung, dass im Diskurs der extremen Rechten vielfach Bezüge auf 'die 68er' hergestellt werden. Entlang zentraler Publikationen der extremen Rechten identifiziert der Text zunächst, welche Feindbildkonstruktionen gegenüber 'den 68ern' und wichtigen Protagonist*innen einer Demokratisierung von Hochschulen und Gesellschaft im zeitgenössischen Kontext sichtbar wurden. Im zweiten Teil der Ausführungen werden aktuelle Deutungen der '68er' rekonstruiert, die in der APO und der Bewegung der Studierenden entweder die Fortsetzung einer ‚anti-deutschen‘ Politik der US-amerikanischen 'Re-Education' sehen ('cultural marxism') oder zumindest für einige der bekanntesten Protagonisten nationalrevolutionäre Positionen behaupten.... view less

This article starts from the observation that references to 'the 68ers' are manifold in the discourse of the German extreme right. The text first identifies which constructions of the enemy image vis-à-vis 'the 68ers' and important protagonists of a democratization of universities and society became visible at that time by looking at central publications of the extreme right. In the second part of the text, current interpretations of the '68ers' are reconstructed, which either see the APO and the student movement as the continuation of an 'anti-German' policy of U.S. 're-education' ('cultural marxism') or, at least for some of the bestknown protagonists, claim national-revolutionary positions.... view less
