Viele der zur Darstellung medieninduzierter Veränderungen und Unterschiede genutzten Begrifflichkeiten und Ausdrücke produzieren Leerstellen und Wortnebel, weil deren kontextspezifische Bedeutung nicht oder nur unzureichend expliziert wird. Sie halten weder einer sprachwissenschaftlichen noch einer medienphilosophischen Analyse stand. Anhand der drei prominenten Oppositionen 'offline/online, analog/digital und real/virtuell' zeigt der Vortrag, warum aus Sicht des Referenten die am häufigsten genutzten Ausdrücke den Gegenstand 'Online-Beratung' bzw. Many terms and expressions used to describe media-induced changes and differences produce vagueness and word fog due to insufficient explanation of context-specific meaning and readers often remain confused. Under these conditions those terms do not stand up to linguistic or media philosophical analysis. On the basis of the three most common oppositions (offline/online, analog/digital, real/virtual), the lecture tries to show, why these expressions do not adequately describe the subject 'online counselling' or 'online communication', and - furthermore - disseminate mystifications about the subject.... view less
