Ein organisationsgeschichtlicher Ansatz klammert den Präsentismus und Universalismus der Management-Studien ein und ermöglicht eine zeitsensible, kontextualisierte Perspektive auf das Sich-Organisieren von Unternehmen. Zwei Fallstudien aus der spätsozialistischen Schiffbauindustrie veranschaulichen den Beginn der Prekarisierung der institutionalisierten Unternehmensformen und -grenzen. Der konzeptionell orientierte Beitrag argumentiert, dass die Organisationsgeschichte zu einer Öffnung und Dynamisierung des Unternehmensbegriffs beitragen kann, der für die Untersuchung der eingebetteten neoliberalen Arbeitswelt des Postsozialismus und Postfordismus von großem heuristischem Wert ist.... view less

An organizational-historical approach overcomes the presentism and universalism of management studies and provides a time sensitive and contextualized perspective on the organizing of enterprises. Two case studies from the late-socialist shipbuilding industry illustrate the beginning of the precarization of institutionalized enterprise definitions and their blurring boundaries. The conceptually oriented article argues that organizational history can contribute to an opening and dynamization of the concept of enterprise, which can be of great value for the study of the embedded neoliberal working world of post-socialism and post-fordism in general.... view less
