Arbeitsmarktpolitik mit dem Europäischen Sozialfonds: Ergänzung des SGB III aus Mitteln des ESF - Umsetzung und Wirkungen

Abstract

In den Jahren 2000 bis 2008 wurde die gesetzliche Arbeitsmarktpolitik des Bundes (SGB III) aus Mitteln des Europäischen Sozialfonds ergänzt (ESF-BA-Programm). Mit diesem Bericht informiert die Begleitforschung des IAB abschließend über ihre Ergebnisse. Vorgestellt werden die Befunde der Implementations- und Wirkungsanalysen zur ESF-Förderung der beruflichen Weiterbildung von Arbeitslosen, Qualifizierung während Kurzarbeit bei endgültigem Arbeitsausfall, Hilfen zur Existenzgründung aus Arbeitslosigkeit und Vermittlung berufsbezogener Deutschkenntnisse an Arbeitslose mit Migrationshintergrund.

Between the years 2000 and 2008, the German federal labour market policies (SGB III) were supplemented by funds provided by the European Social Fund (ESF-BA-Programm). This constitutes the final report on the research carried out by the AIB. It presents the results of the implementation and impact analyses of the ESF support of vocational training of jobless persons, as well as qualification measures during short-time work and job loss, help with business start-ups out of unemployment and the tuition of work-related German language skills for unemployed people with a migration background.
