La otra universidad en Colombia: la lucha por la emancipación humana

Abstract

Three modes of university historically constituted in Colombia are identified from the 16th century to the present: the confessional, state, and private-lay university, which correspond to three forms of organization of three powers: the Church, the State, and the Enterprise. Nevertheless, this research, in its first exploratory phase, reveals another university in Colombia: peasant, intercultural, indigenous, and of the peoples. This another university is characterized by its strong relationships with interculturality and popular education. It promotes the educational intention of the political subject on the contribution of their construction as a historical subject, who enables social practices, which act on the popular and collective subjectivity, which is an effort to create the conditions for another life in community.

Se identifican tres modos de universidad históricamente constituidos en Colombia desde el siglo XVI hasta el presente: la universidad confesional, estatal y privada-laica que responden a tres formas de organización de tres poderes: la Iglesia, El Estado y la Empresa. No obstante, esta investigación situada en su primera fase exploratoria devela otra universidad en Colombia: campesina, intercultural, indígena y de los pueblos. Ésta otra universidad se caracterizar por sus fuertes relaciones con la interculturalidad y la educación popular, promueve una intencionalidad formativa del sujeto político en la contribución de su construcción como sujeto histórico posibilitador de prácticas sociales que actúan sobre la subjetividad popular y colectiva, esfuerzo por crear las condiciones para una existencia otra en comunidad.
