En el México de hoy no se cumplen las condiciones de una democracia política efectiva ya que no hay sujeción a las normas jurídicas. Existe una subordinación de los poderes Legislativo y Judicial al Ejecutivo, con un partido de Estado que vuelve desigual la competencia electoral ya que el gobierno actúa en favor del PRI, además de que buena parte de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil se encuentran sometidas de manera abierta o encubierta al gobierno o a su partido. In nowdays Mexico there are not conditions for a real political democracy basically because there is no respect for law. This situation is the result of various matters: the subordination of the legislative and judicial powers to the executive; the presence of a state party that takes advantage of the guvernment's support turning inequal the electoral competence. In this same regard many of the social organizations tend to rely on either the goverment or its party. The above practices not necessarily define a dictatorial or totalitarian type of system but rather an authoritarian regime that hinders the transtion to democracy because the power relations are conducted on a vertical way, in which the president appears to be at the top as the mainstay of the national political life.... view less
