En este artículo se analizan, dentro del ámbito de la pragmática, los relatos periodísticos surgidos en la corriente del Nuevo Periodismo. Como no es posible comprender las propiedades internas del discurso si se ignoran las circunstancias de la producción y de la comprensión del discurso, los relatos periodísticos son analizados en relación con su contexto. Ello permite descubrir cómo se realizan en tanto actos de habla y si logran los efectos deseados en el destinatario. Se formulan una serie de reglas que permiten estudiar este tipo de relatos periodísticos minuciosamente y constatar si reúnen los requisitos necesarios para considerarlos actos de habla apropiados.... view less

This article deais, within the Pragmatics context, with the joumalistic accounts which trace their origins to the school of New Joumalism. Because it is not possible to undersiand the intemal traits of any discourse if the circumstances of their production and understanding are ignored, the accounts are analyzed vis a vis their context. This allows for the disclosure of the process through which they revea! themselves as acts of discourse and for the measurement of the desired effects in the receiver.
