En este artículo, el autor analiza los resultados de las más recientes reformas electorales. A lo largo de su trabajo va destacando aquellos puntos que, a su juicio, han caracterizado tales procesos, como el establecimiento de un financiamiento público, mayor equidad de las condiciones competitivas entre los diversos partidos, creación de un servicio profesional electoral y el fortalecimiento del sistema de partidos. Asimismo, examina algunas de las inconformidades que estas mismas reformas electorales han suscitado. A pesar de que el autor reconoce que la actual normatividad electoral vigente dista mucho de ser perfecta, concluye, sin embargo, que no es aconsejable promover otra reforma de esta índole.... view less

In this article, the writer analyses the results of the most recent electoral reforms. Throughout his study, he emphasizes those factors that, in his judgement, have characterized these processes, such as the establishment of public financing, larger equity of competitive conditions between the different parties, creation of a professional electoral service and the strenghthening of the multy-party sistem. Likewise, he examines some of the inconformities hat these electoral reforms have provoked. In spite of the fact that the author recognizes that the present electoral normativity is far from being perfect, he concludes, nonetheless, that it is not advisible to promote another reform of his kind.... view less
