En este artículo la autor se propone investigar las conexiones existentes entre el proceso de globalización y las nuevas formas de intermediación de los intereses empresariales en México. Para tal efecto, analiza las estructuras de intermediación empresarial en los niveles macro (cupular) y meso (sectorial). Los sectores examinados -valores, banca, acero, construcción, cemento y textiles- sufren profundos cambios en la estructura de las redes de política pública desencadenados, en su mayoría, por reformas políticas y económicas. Concluye que, aun cuando exista una mayor redistribución de los papeles de formulación de políticas del Estado hacia agencias privadas, la tendencia parece avanzar lenta e irregularmente debido a la inestabilidad y dependencia económicas.... view less

This article aims to investigate the connections between the processes of globalisation and the new forms of associational action of business interests in Mexico. It analyses the structures of business intermediation at the macro (peak) and meso (sectorial) levels. The sectors examined -securities, banking, steel, construction, cement and textiles- undergo profound changes in the structure of policy networks, most of them triggered try economic and p< rlitical reforms. The article concludes that, although there is a greater redistribution of policy-making roles from the state towards private agencies, the trend seems to advance slowly anil irregu larly due to economic instability and economic dependency.... view less
