Las ciencias sociales frente al siglo XXI, nuevas agendas de investigación y docencia: las Relaciones Internacionales

La segunda parte del trabajo se ocupa de plantear cuáles son las temáticas prioritarias que se presentan para la docencia y la investigación en este inicio de siglo, concluyendo en la necesidad de profundizar sobre la problemática de la globalización y sus consecuencias, así como descifrar todas las implicaciones que puede tener la posmodernidad, como ruptura epistemológica.

This essay pretends to prove the cióse theoretical, methodological and epistemological links among all Social Sciences, including International Relations. The demonstration is the inclusión in our studies of a list of classical social theorists and the fact that all anthologies on Social Theory inelude a good number of International Relations specialists. The second part arises the question of what are going to be the main topics for the xxi Century Teaching and Research Agenda reaching the conclusión that there are two main problems to be deepened: the social consequences of Globalization and the implieations of postmodernism as a breach of rational thinking.
