En este artículo se examinan la etapas que recorre el movimiento político empresarial en México, cuyas corrientes ideológicas más importantes se analizaron en un artículo anterior (Salas-Porras, 2001). Durante la primera etapa del movimiento, que se extendió a lo largo de los años setenta y ochenta, ambas, las fuerzas social cristianas y las neoliberales compartían un programa de acción común que se proponía disminuir el papel del Estado en la sociedad y realzar el de los empresarios. Durante la segunda y presente etapa, un nuevo juego de contradicciones emerge entre las fuerzas neoliberales y social cristianas alrededor del objetivo de redefinir la visión de estado y sociedad. Las estrategias y herramientas utilizadas por los empresarios durante estas etapas se discuten con especial atención a los programas educacionales y los vínculos con instituciones que juegan un papel fundamental en la difusión y promoción de los principios de su proyecto.... view less

This article examines the stages undergone by Mexico's business political movement, the main ideological currents o which were analysed in a previous article (Salas-Porras, 2001). During the first stage of the movement, which lasted throughout the seventies and eighties, both, the Social Christian and the Neoliberal forces, shared a common programme of action, which aimed at diminishing the role of the state in society and highlighting that of entrepreneurs. During the second and present stage, a new set of contradictions emerge between Neoliberal and Social Christian forces around the objective of redefining the vision of state and society. The strategies and tools used by entrepreneurs during these stages are discussed with special attention to the educational programmes and the links with institutions which play a paramount role in spreading and highlighting the principles of the project they endorse.... view less
