Este artículo analiza y describe el rol del periodista como mediador y manipulador de la información ante la sociedad. El autor destaca cómo el periodista tiene influencia sobre los ámbitos políticos, económicos y sociales ya que tiene la voz y el medio de comunicación ante el público. Asimismo, aborda las diferentes coartadas que el periodista utiliza para comunicar, en vez de la realidad, siempre lo que él quiere. De igual modo, reflexiona sobre la reacción de la sociedad ante lo que el periodista escribe, así como su visión al respecto. This article analyses and describes the journalist's role in society as information holder and how they manage to manipulate information and then communicate it to society. According to the text, the journalist has an enormous power on the political, economical, and social realms, as they are the ones that get the information to people's knowledge. The article also analysed the alibis used by the journalist to communicate what he wants, rather than the real facts, and the reaction and impact this has on society's view. It also shows how the politicians have to adapt themselves to the journalists, to the point they have to persuade them more than persuade people itself.... view less
