RTI laws have become a symbol of a country’s commitment to good governance. Good governance means that there are fair laws, rules and regulations which are enforced impartially. This paper examines the legal frameworks of Right to Information Laws in Pakistan, and whether these have achieved the intended purpose of transparency, open government, and good governance.
