A partir del análisis de las luchas sociales por la memoria en la historia política del Chile reciente, se sostiene que desde el golpe de Estado de 1973 comenzó a configurarse un nuevo régimen de la memoria, que define cómo y qué recordar, olvidar y silenciar públicamente respecto del pasado colectivo. Con la vuelta a la democracia, en 1990, las políticas de memoria y derechos humanos tendieron a recordar lo ocurrido desde el imperativo ético-político del “nunca más”. it is argued that since the coup d’état in 1973 a new regime of memory began to be configured, which defines how and what to remember, forget and silence publicly regarding the collective past.
