This article aims to show the pedagogical potential of the use of 'marginal poetry' in Sociology classes. The urban chronicler Miró da Muribeca was chosen to support this work. His poetry, considered by critics as 'marginal poetry', approaches sociological themes and concepts in addition to everyday experiences common to students' habitus. The use of this type of poetry in the classes of Sociology functioned as a didactic tool that enabled the students to hatch from a greater taste by the classes associated to a greater understanding of the contents approached through the partnership between the school and the Institutional Program of Initiation to Teaching Scholarships (PIBID) of CAPES/CNPq. O presente artigo objetiva e vidência a potencialidade pedagógica do uso da ‘poesia marginal’ nas aulas de Sociologia. O cronista urbano Miró da Muribeca foi escolhido para alicerçar este trabalho. Sua poesia, considerada pela crítica como ‘poesia marginal’, aborda temas e conceitos sociológicos além de vivências cotidianas comuns ao habitus dos estudantes. O uso desse tipo de poesia nas aulas de Sociologia funcionou como ferramenta didática que possibilitou a eclosão nos estudantes de um gosto maior pelas aulas associado a um entendimento maior dos conteúdos abordados por meio da parceria entre a escola e o Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) da CAPES/CNPq. Sendo possível desenvolver neste caso específico, essas atividades e aproximar os docentes em formação do dia a dia da escola, permitindo uma conexão entre a Universidade e escola.... view less
