El derecho a la ciudad se entrelaza con el derecho a la vivienda como derecho mínimo, que es protegido por las constituciones, legislaciones nacionales e internacionales, y sin embargo no es más que un canto a la bandera como lo es la ley DALO en Francia. Este mismo derecho solo es de papel y se puede probar al apreciar las investigación de instituciones como HIC o Hábitat International Coalition que reporta más de 1.200 millones de destechados en el mundo, y a lo que se suma que en los casos en los cuales se realizan intervenciones las personas beneficiadas no intervienen en ninguna etapa del proceso, y por ende no puede participar en la construcción, diseño, ubicación entre otros, razón por la cual finalmente terminan más adelante nuevamente damnificados porque no logran amoldarse o caber dentro de dichos diseños institucionales.... view less

The right to the city is intertwined with the right to housing as a minimum entitlement, which is protected by the constitutions, national and international laws, and yet it is nothing but a hymn to the flag as is the DALO law in France. The same right is just paper and you can try to appreciate the research institutions such as Habitat International Coalition HIC or reporting over 1,200 million homeless in the world, which adds that in cases in which operations are performed the beneficiaries are not involved at any stage of the process, and therefore can not participate in the construction, design, location, among others, why eventually end up homeless again later because they fail to conform or fit within these institutional designs.... view less
