Religion und ihre ontogenetische Entwicklung war lange Zeit in der (deutschsprachigen) akademischen Psychologie kein Thema. Stattdessen überließ man dieses Feld der Theologie, in der zahlreiche Modelle und Theorien entstanden. Das prominenteste Modell wird kurz vorgestellt und kritisch gewürdigt. Im Anschluss wird unter Zuhilfenahme der Symbolischen Handlungstheorie Ernst E. Boesch die Religion und ihre ontogenetische Entwicklung für die Psychologie zurückgewonnen. Insbesondere der von Boesch beschriebene Prozess der ›sekundären Subjektivierung‹ wird als derjenige herausgearbeitet, der zur Subjektivierung von Religion und damit ihrer Verankerung im Individuum führt.... view less

The most prominent model is briefly presented and critically assessed. Following, religion and its ontogenetic development are regained for psychology with help of the symbolic action theory by Ernst E. Boesch.
