Methodologisch und methodisch wird im Rahmen der "Neuen Kindheitsforschung" gefordert, dass Kindheitsforschung nicht als Forschung über Kinder, sondern als eine Forschung "aus der Perspektive" von Kindern auszurichten ist. Problematisiert wird, inwieweit Aussagen von Erwachsenen über Kinder und Kindheit überhaupt Aussagen aus einer kindlichen Perspektive sein können. Entgegen der zumeist zum Tragen kommenden Vergleichshorzionte, nach denen Kindheit entweder aus der eigenen Erwachsenenperspektive oder vor dem Hintergrund der eigenen Kindheitserinnerungen rekonstruiert wird, wird als fruchtbarer Zugang verstanden, Kindheit konsequent als "Konstrukt generationaler Verhältnisse" aufzufassen.... view less

In the scope of "New Childhood Studies", methodological and methodical will be claimed, that childhood research is not research about children assort research out of the point of view of children. The problem of how far statements of adults about children can be seen as statements of a child's point of view will be expounded. Against comparison horizons mostly have some effect, according to the reconstruction of childhood either out of the adults point of view or against the background of the own childhood memory, a high-producing access is meant when childhood is consequently considered as a "construct of generational proportion".... view less
