Looking for creative impetus business is borrowing more and more from the arts. Creative courage is a most welcome virtue in organizations striving for innovation. This paper presents both empirical studies on courage in management and the results of an own survey on both the meaning and prerequisites of courage in artistic conduct. They show that courage is deeply rooted in the artistic, but not in the managerial professional culture. Auf der Suche nach kreativen Impulsen macht die Wirtschaft immer öfter Anleihen in der Kunst und in innovationsbereiten Organisationen ist kreativer Mut eine willkommene Tugend. Der Beitrag stellt empirischen Studien zum Mut im Management sowie Ergebnisse einer eigenen Erhebung zur Bedeutung und zu den Voraussetzungen von kreativem Mut im künstlerischen Handeln vor. Die Befunde zeigen, dass Mut in der Berufskultur von Künstlern viel stärker verankert ist als in der von Managern. Arts-based Learning ist ein Ansatz, mit dem ermutigende künstlerische Haltungen und Werte in die Berufskultur von Managern integriert werden können.... view less
