Objective: To analyze the scientific production from the aspects of programmatic vulnerability and their relationship in adherence to antiretroviral treatment for HIV/ AIDS. Method: Narrative review of the literature. Data collection took place in February 2014 in the databases MEDLINE and LILACS and subjected to thematic content analysis. Results: A total of 16 productions, of which point out the aspects of programmatic vulnerability and their interrelation in the membership: 1) the commitment and responsibility of professionals and staff; 2) access to health services; and 3) organization of services.
