Objective: describing the profile of students of Professional Mastership in Health Teaching (MPES). Method: this is a descriptive-exploratory study of a qualitative approach, conducted in Aurora de Afonso Costa Nursing School-UFF, Niterói, in 2013, from registration chips of students who attend the MPES. Results: when analyzing the registration chips there was verified that students are not so young in age and neither in the profession, they are mostly female and nursing graduate.
