%X Objective: to identify the evidence available in scientific articles about the factors involved in the access of first contact of the Primary Health Care (APS). Method: integrative review developed in LILACS, Scopus and PubMed database using the keywords "primary health care" and "access to health services". There were 41 articles in full. Results: the results showed that there are factors that favor or disfavor the components of the access attribute of first contact, that is, aspects of structure and performance. Conclusion: to identify factors that interfere with access to APS, it aims to guide the formulation of policies for better performance of health systems.
