Der vorliegende Artikel stellt ein Praxisforschungsprojekt vor. Die Studie zielt darauf ab, die bislang vernachlässigte Perspektive der Kinder in der Beratung in den Mittelpunkt einer wissenschaftlichen Analyse zu rücken und gleichzeitig die subjektorientierten Methoden der Evaluationsforschung als Bestandteil psychosozialer Praxis zu etablieren. Zentrale Fragestellungen sind: (1) Wie erleben Kinder die psychologische Beratung? (2) Wie beurteilen Kinder ihre Rolle und ihre Beteiligung in den verschiedenen beraterisch-psychotherapeutischen Settings? (3) Wie bewerten Kinder den Nutzen bzw. den Erfolg von Beratung und Therapie? Betrachtet man die Ergebnisse, so ist allgemein festzustellen, daß Kinder die Erziehungs- und Familienberatung eher skeptisch und zurückhaltend beurteilen.... view less

The current article introduces a research project in an applied field setting. It focuses on the role of the child in the educational and family counseling and tries to establish the subject-oriented methods of the evaluation research as a part of the psychosocial practice. The project aims to make the up to now neglected perspective of the child a central point of a scientific analysis. Answers are sought for the following questions: (1) How does a child experience psychological counseling? (2) How do children evaluate their role and their amount ofparticipation in various counseling and psychotherapeutic settings? (3) How do children rate the effectivity and success of counseling and therapy? Looking at the results in general, one can say that children face educational and family counseling with skepticism and cautiousness.... view less
