Die Welt im (Außen-)Blick: Überlegungen zu einer ästhetischen Re|Konstruktionsanalyse am Beispiel der Weltraumfotografie 'Blue Marble'

Abstract

"Der Beitrag entwirft das methodische Verfahren einer hermeneutisch-wissenssoziologisch begründeten ästhetischen Re|Konstruktionsanalyse. Deren grundlegende Idee ist es, künstlerisch-gestalterische Mittel systematisch und methodisch kontrolliert für die Sinnrekonstruktion visueller Daten fruchtbar zu machen. Wie aber lassen sich überhaupt Kompetenzen und Arbeitsweisen der Kunst und des Designs mit der sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschung verbinden, um ein produktives Miteinander von künstlerisch-gestalterischem Handeln und kognitiver Reflexion zu erzeugen? Mit der Konzeption der ästhetischen Re|Konstruktionsanalyse unterbreitet der Artikel einen konkreten Vorschlag anhand der Interpretation unbewegter Bilder. Am Beispiel der Weltraumfotografie 'Blue Marble' werden die methodisch-methodologischen Überlegungen dargestellt, problematisiert und empirisch erprobt." (Autorenreferat)

"The paper outlines the methodical approach of aesthetic re|construction analysis, grounded in hermeneutics and the sociology of knowledge. Its core idea is to explore, in a systematic and methodically controlled way, artistic and creative resources to reconstruct the meaning of visual data. But how to combine the competences and methods of design and the arts with social science research, in the first place, and achieve a productive cooperation between artistic and creative action and cognitive reflection? To this end, the aesthetic re|construction analysis is advanced as a concrete suggestion, based on an interpretation of non-moving images. Taking the 'Blue Marble' photo of the Earth from space as an example, relevant methodical and methodological issues are discussed, problematised and empirically tested." (author's abstract)
