In German education research, university-based teaching and learning processes and their results are considered a "black box", the examination of which has only recently begun. This study delivers important insights into the structure and determinants based on the example of the business management knowledge of students. The author uses concepts for competence measurement in vocational training and combines these with pedagogical-psychological diagnostics. Focusing on the role of situation-specific test tasks, the book is unique in German third level education research. It furthermore clarifies and critically discusses characteristics of the capture of learning results in the third level education sector and positions the findings in an international context.... view less

Universitäre Lehr-Lernprozesse und deren Ergebnisse gelten in der deutschen Bildungsforschung als "Black Box", mit deren Durchleuchtung erst jüngst begonnen wurde. Diese Studie liefert wichtige Erkenntnisse über die Struktur und die Determinanten am Beispiel des betriebswirtschaftlichen Wissens von Studierenden. Die Autorin wendet Konzepte der Kompetenzmessung in der beruflichen Bildung an und verknüpft sie mit pädagogisch-psychologischer Diagnostik. Durch die Fokussierung auf die Rolle situativer Testaufgaben ist das Buch ein Novum in der deutschen hochschulischen Bildungsforschung. Darüber hinaus werden Besonderheiten der Erfassung von Lernergebnissen im Hochschulsektor herausgearbeitet, kritisch diskutiert und in den internationalen Kontext eingebettet.... view less
