(Autorenreferat)... view less

"The thesis of this paper is that adolescents of lower secondary schools are being forced into a special social depreciated role in which they learn predominantly to protect their personal integrity against derogatory prejudices. This text uses selected empirical results of a study about self-perception of pupils in lower secondary school education classes. Students of this school see their school performance questioned from different positions. As a consequence of this, being a student in this school constitutes socialisation- based learning effects which are problematic, especially from a pedagogically point of view."
