Herzog e sua imagem tornaram-se marco da resistência política no país. Essa simbologia está envolta em uma teia narrativa imersa em conflitos, mas que também foi responsável pela ressignificação do acontecimento no tempo, cujo efeito foi amortecer a repressão ditatorial. Para repensar outras consequências da constante “dilatação” deste acontecimento no tempo tomamos como objeto a matéria publicada pela Folha de S. Paulo em 5 de fevereiro de 2012, quando, na ocasião, o jornal procurou revelar a seus leitores o “instante decisivo” e a identidade do fotógrafo Silvaldo Leung Vieira, autor desta imagem símbolo. Nossa intenção é discutir como o acontecimento foi re(a)presentado pelo jornal em um processo de constante “acontecência” em suas narrativas de lembrança e esquecimento. Herzog and his image have become a political resistance icon in the country. This symbolism is shrouded in a narrative web immersed in conflicts and also was responsible for the event reframing the time whose first effect was to cushion the dictatorial repression. To rethink other effects of constant "expansion" of this event in time we take as object of discussion an article published by Folha de S. Paulo on February 5, 2012, when the newspaper sought to reveal to your readers the "decisive moment" and the identity of Silvaldo Leung Vieira, author of this symbol image. Our intention is to discuss how the event was resubmitted by the newspaper in a constant process of "acontecência" in their memory and forgetting narratives. Narratives often conditioned by particular objectives aimed at reconfiguring memory and the newspaper authority in relation to its past.... view less
