(Autorenreferat)... view less

"Teacher-student-interactions form the basis for academic learning. A pleasant learning atmosphere and an appreciative teacher-student-relationship are fundamental for the development of the child’s personality. However, this is not always the case. The following article discusses basics of appreciation and stigmatization and illustrates examples of stigmatization of children, which were found by observations in 6 lessons. The article should sensitize teachers to acknowledge stigmatization in educational action." (author's abstract)... view less
