While the statistical results of the project about empty housing in Wallonia (Belgium) are mainly communicated from a scientific point of view, the media give their autonomy to these results, offering them to the civil society. It appears that this mediatized treatment of the statistical results occurred following parliamentary questions at the Walloon Parliament about the empty housing issue, notably in relation to a public policy waiting for its execution order. On the basis of an exhaustive corpus (from the media and the parliamentary questions), we analyse the influence of this autonomy on the extended Phase of the research, precisely financed in relation to the implementation of the above mentioned public policy.... view less

Tandis que les résultats statististiques du projet sur la vacance immobilière résidentielle en Wallonie (Belgique) sont essentiellement présentés sous leur angle scientifique, une campagne de presse donne leur autonomie aux résultats au sein de la société civile. Il apparaît que ce traitement médiatique a pris son envol suite à des questions parlementaires au Parlement wallon sur la thématique des logements inoccupés, notamment en articulation avec une politique publique dont les arrêtés d’exécution sont en cours de rédaction. A partir d’un corpus exhautifs des communications médiatiques et parlementaires, nous analysons l’influence de cette autonomie sur la Phase d’extension de la recherche, justement financée en articulation avec la mise en oeuvre de ladite politique publique.... view less
