Der Beitrag fragt nach der Relevanz postsozialistischer und postjugoslawischer feministischer Staatskritik vor dem Hintergrund einer anhaltenden Transformation von Geschlechterverhältnissen und von Staatlichkeit. Wie ist die Diagnose einer Retraditionalisierung der Geschlechterverhältnisse nach dem Systemumbruch heute zu bewerten? Nach einer Auseinandersetzung mit der von Rada Ivekovic formulierten Kritik am postjugoslawischen Nationalstaat wird ein erweiterter theoretischer Zugang in Anlehnung an aktuelle feministische Staatstheorien entwickelt. Im Zentrum steht dabei das Konzept der maskulinistischen Staatlichkeit. Die Wahl von Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic zur ersten kroatischen Staatspräsidentin im Januar 2015 und ihre Siegesrede dienen als Analysebeispiel, um am aktuellen politischen Diskurs in Kroatien die Neuformulierung "staatsbildender" maskulinistischer Vorstellungen von Staat und Familie durch eine Frau nachzuzeichnen.... view less
The article seeks to examine the relevance of post-socialist and post-Yugoslavian feminist state criticism against the background of an ongoing transformation of gender relations and statehood. The article seeks to examine the relevance of post-socialist and post-Yugoslavian feminist state criticism against the background of an ongoing transformation of gender relations and statehood. How can the re-traditionalization of gender relations, made after the breakdown of the socialist state system, be pin-pointed, and how should it be currently valued? Following the dispute concerning the post-Yugoslavian nation state as formulated by Rada Ivekovic, an advanced theoretical approach is developed. This approach is dependent upon current feminist state theories. In so doing, the concept of masculine-oriented statehood remains the crucial focal point. The victory of Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic during the Croatian presidential elections in January of 2015 (as well as the succeeding victory speech) serves as a sample of analysis of the current political discourse in Croatia, by retracing the manner in which a highly ranking female politician utilizes state-building discourse to re-formulate masculinist concepts of state and family.... view less
