Imaginationsreflexifität als Aspekt interkultureller Kompetenz: das Stiefkind interkultureller Kompetenzdiskussion

Abstract

Hauptanliegen des Beitrags soll die Betrachtung der Beziehung der Begriffe der Imagination, der Imaginationsreflexivität und der interkulturellen Kompetenz sein, mit dem Ziel jenes dieser Verbindung innewohnende Potential zum einen zu betonen, zum anderen seine Bedeutung für das Feld der interkulturellen Wirtschaftskooperation aufzuzeigen. Es wird der Versuch unternommen, die Komplexität der Fähigkeit zur Imaginationsreflexivität aufzuzeigen, indem ihre Wirkung auf interkulturell relevante Aspekte im Kontext der vier Prinzipien der Relationalität, der Korrespondenz, der Komplementarität und der Reziprozität beschrieben wird. Imaginationsreflexivität spielt unter anderem eine bedeutende Rolle bei der Entwicklung kultureller Identität und "Identifikation" (Appadurai 1997), wie auch im Rahmen der Verbesserung von Kooperation in interkulturelllen und virtuellen Arbeitsumgebungen.

The main objective of the article is to elucidate the relationship between the terms imagination, reflexivity of imagination and intercultural competence with the view to emphasize its probable inherent potential on the one hand, and its meaning for the field intercultural business cooperation on the other hand. It is attempted to capture the complexity of the ability of reflexivity of imagination by describing its impact on interculturally relevant aspects touching upon the four different principles of relationality, correspondence, complementarity and reciprocity. Reflexivity of imagination plays an important role when it comes to the development of cultural identity or "identification" (Appadurai)
