"This report presents some descriptive results of a survey (2007) among graduates with a degree in sociology ('Magister') from Stuttgart University. In a mixed-mode survey combining a web survey and a postal survey a total of 119 former students replied to a questionnaire concerning their sociology studies at Stuttgart (retrospectively judged), their transition from university into professional life, and their job situation. It is shown that on the average the questioned graduates have experienced a successful career entry and a successful continuing job career." (author's abstract)... view less
