La dynamique des relations politiques et juridiques entre la République de Moldova et l'Union européenne

Abstract

The present paper reviews the history of Moldova–European Union relations in the context of European integration option (that officially became a strategic priority in late 2002). It lists a set of reasons explaining the dynamics of the relationship, points out that the Republic of Moldova benefits from openness and a preferential treatment (since the end of 2009), and emphasizes that the opportunity of integration must be explored by approaching the European integration. Considering that the Republic of Moldova is geopolitically and culturally belonging to the European civilization, it is therefore natural to aspire to be a part of the united European family.
