(Autorenreferat)... view less

"This article describes the consequences of the mediatization of the important practice of searching for music in the independent scene. Using the example of musical mash-ups we try to develop the thesis that cultural boundaries become more and more diffuse with transnational stylistic orientations. Therefore comprehensive group cohesions become fragile and evoke fast-moving, glocal forms of scene culture that are stabilized at least short term." (author's abstract)... view less
